The most nutritious foods emulate the colors of the rainbow.

Reds: tomatoes, strawberries, red peppers, apples, etc.
Oranges: carrots, peaches, pumpkins
Yellow: corn, bananas, various squashes
Greens: lettuce (romaine, iceberg) cabbage, spinach, pears, green beans
Purples: eggplant, blueberries, beets
Whites: potatoes, onions, garlic.
 
Foods that reflect the colors of the rainbow on your plate make a healthier you.
